Project overview
A Garden Grove homeowner built a brown steel shop in the backyard to store a boat and tools. The building kit came without a door, and the owner wanted one that matched the panels and could be locked securely.
We installed a brown steel roll-up door with a spring-assisted curtain, side locks and a weather seal. The final adjustments were finished at sunset on the same day.
Client requirements
The door had to match the building color, roll up compactly under the low header and lock securely.
- Color matched to the steel building
- Compact roll-up for a low header
- Locks for tool and boat storage
- Same-day installation
Our solutions
We measured the framed opening and header, then ordered a roll-up door in a matching brown finish.
1. Roll-up curtain:
Brown steel roll-up door that coils compactly above the opening.
2. Spring assist:
Pre-tensioned spring so the door lifts easily by hand.
3. Security:
Side slide locks plus a padlock point.
4. Weather seal:
Bottom seal to keep dust and rain out of the shop.
Result & client feedback
The door matches the building perfectly, and the boat and tools are locked away safely. Interested in something similar? Read about our commercial garage door repair service.
