Project overview
A warehouse near the airport was being renovated for a new tenant. The old sheet-metal roll-ups were dented and noisy, and they could not be secured properly. The owner wanted doors that matched the building's new black-and-gray look.
We supplied and installed three insulated rolling steel doors in matte black, with commercial operators, photo-eye sensors and steel bollards to protect the guides from forklifts.
Client requirements
The property manager needed a durable, secure set of doors installed without delaying the tenant's move-in date.
- Insulated, high-security rolling doors
- Colors matched to the new facade
- Motor operators with safety sensors
- Finish before the tenant move-in date
Our solutions
We installed the doors over three days in the same week as the exterior painters, coordinating with the general contractor.
1. Rolling steel curtains:
Insulated slat curtains in matte black with a wind-rated bottom bar.
2. Commercial operators:
Hoist operators with brake, chain backup and photo-eye protection.
3. Guide protection:
Yellow steel bollards set in front of each guide.
4. Maintenance plan:
Twice-yearly maintenance set up with the property manager.
Result & client feedback
All three doors were finished two days before move-in. They run quietly and lock securely, and the tenant has had no service calls since. Interested in something similar? Read about our commercial garage door repair service.
