Project overview
A builder developing a lot split on the Westside needed doors for two new detached garages, while the stucco and roofing crews were still on site. The garages had to pass final inspection with working doors and openers.
We installed two insulated steel raised-panel doors with torsion springs and belt-drive openers, and we coordinated around the drywall and paint schedule.
Client requirements
The builder needed a reliable sub who would show up on the scheduled day and leave doors ready for inspection.
- Doors installed during active construction
- Openers with California battery backup
- Inspection-ready safety sensors
- Fixed price per garage
Our solutions
We measured the framed openings before drywall, ordered the doors early and installed them right after the exterior was finished.

Result & client feedback
Both garages passed final inspection on the first visit. The builder has since used us on two more projects in Costa Mesa. Interested in something similar? Read about our garage door installation service.
